There are a lot of great hangouts in Lancaster, but the best place to go is Krueger Park. This park has everything you need and more! You can bring your family or friends to play on the playgrounds, have some fun at the skatepark, grab a drink from one of their food trucks or even take out paddle boats for an afternoon adventure on Lake Wylie.

Things To Do: One of my favorite things about this city is that there's always something going on - whether it be eating good BBQ with friends down by Brown's Bridge (check out Salty Pig), playing cornhole alongside locals near our beautiful riverwalk downtown (make sure you stop into River Front Grill while you're here!), exploring.

Things are a little different in this part of the country than they are back home. Lancaster is a small town with big opportunities and we're happy that you've decided to take on one of them by moving here for your new job or school. First off, don't worry too much about missing out because there isn't anything really going on just yet. All the action happens when winter rolls around - if you're still looking at houses then I recommend waiting until after Thanksgiving before committing anywhere.

Things are a little slower here so don't expect to find much in the way of nightlife. The best place for that is about an hour's drive away and you'll need to plan ahead if there's something specific you're looking for because we won't be able to jump on it right away - especially during winter, when things slow down even more (don't worry though, we have plenty of other great places where you can meet up with people).

If going out isn't your thing then I would recommend checking out some free activities like walking around downtown or taking advantage of our natural beauty by visiting parks along the riverfront or hiking one of many trails.

Best Amusement Park in Lancaster, South Carolina: Fantasy Land Amusement Park is the best amusement park for children. What's better than a roller coaster? Nothing! Fantasy Land has all sorts of rides, games, and activities that will keep you busy on your vacation. They also have several food options which are delicious (especially their funnel cake fries!) and affordable. The workers at Fantasy Land were friendly when we visited them last summer so if anything goes wrong with an attraction they should be able to get it fixed quickly! This place doesn't just cater to kids - there are adult-friendly attractions too like go carts, arcade games, bumper cars and more! If you're looking for something different from what Lancaster offers this might be your answer.

Located on the intersection of Highway 17 and Highway 277, this theme park has a variety of activities available for all age groups. There are many exhibits to explore including an art gallery with rotating displays, a plantation house furnished in authentic colonial style, as well as active demonstration areas where visitors can see how locals live and work. Visitors will also enjoy the outdoor garden area filled with plantings used in 18th Century South Carolina plantations!
